On construction sites, industrial work sites and in equipment rental facilities, there is a desire to decontaminate shared equipment. Often, these work sites will have a spare sea container that can be quickly and easily be retrofitted with UVC lighting to decontaminate equipment placed inside.
Hang the lights halfway up the container and space them 5’ apart along the length of a typical 20’ x 8’ container.
If your container is shorter, just place the appropriate number of UVC lights based on 5’ spacing between them. There are some areas in the corners of the container where we do not recommend placing equipment because the UVC is not as intense there.
